The fighters are wearing thickly padded gloves that
would normally limit the amount of damage inflicted. But Sancha
soon proves that the she can inflict damage despite the thick gloves.
In the first round she hammers into Gina's guts sending the black woman
down to the mat three times. At the end of the round the camera follows Gina to her corner and we see her talking earnestly with her second. It looks to me like Gina is ready to throw in the towel, but clearly her manager talks her into continuing and soon she is moving out for the second round. |
