Colonel Zad - Ruler of Tradetown:  Age 35, 180 lbs, 5 feet 10 inches

The Lash - Zad's lover and Commander of Praetorian Guard:  Aged 28, 160 lbs, 6 feet

Andromeda - Daughter of a wealthy foreign trader:  Aged 21, 130 lbs, 5 feet 8 inches

Andromeda is a frequent visitor to Tradetown, often accompanying her father on his business trips to the city.  As a wealthy trader, her father regularly meets and entertains Colonel Zad, the tyrannical ruler of Tradetown.  It is at one of these functions that Andromeda first meets Zad and is instantly attracted to him as a man of power.

Andromeda persuades her father to take her with him on his next several visits to Tradetown, and she makes sure he takes her to all the functions where she can meet Zad.  The Colonel for his part is very taken by this attractive and vivacious young woman.  So on the trader's last night in the city Zad invites him and his daughter to stay over at his palace for a private dinner to celebrate a successful trading visit.  In the middle of the night Zad visits Andromeda in her chamber and makes love to her with a vigour and passion that sets the young woman's head spinning.

The next morning, as they are departing the city, Andromeda suddenly announces to her father that she has decided to stay in Tradetown and to serve Colonel Zad.  Her father tries his best to put her off, but seeing that his daughter's mind is made up, he gives her a pile of money and tells her to come home as soon as she has come to her senses.

On her own in the city and without her father's patronage, Andromeda soon finds that it is next to impossible to get to see Zad.  Access to the despot is rigorously controlled by the Commander of the Praetorian Guards, who is also Zad's chief bodyguard and lover - a heavyweight woman called "The Lash".

After days of unsuccessfully trying to find a way to see Zad, Andromeda hits on the idea of applying to join the Praetorian Guards.  She has been told that Zad interviews all prospective candidates personally, and she determines that this would be the quickest way of getting to see him.  So she goes to the Tradetown army recruiting office and applies to join the Guards - lying that she has extensive combat training and fighting skills!

Her application goes through to Lash, who immediately recognises the name of Andromeda.  Nothing happens in Zad's palace without Lash's knowledge, so she is well aware of Zad's night with the woman.  She immediately determines that she will handle this application in person.

Two days later Andromeda is delighted to receive an invitation to be assessed for a position in the Guards.  The next day she turns up at the Guard's building for her assessment and is taken down to the basement by two burly butch looking guards.  Much to Andromeda's consternation they make her strip to her bra and panties and then secure her by the wrists and ankles to a stout wooden framework:
