Titus is a retired gladiator who has been granted his
freedom by the emperor. He still fights in the arena, but only
against barbarian women who have been brought to Rome to be sold into
slavery. His proposition to his opponent is a simple but
compelling one: if they win he will buy their freedom, but if they lose
they become his slave. Today it is the turn of Germanica, a
warrior princess from the land north of the river Rhine, to fight for
