| This story tells the story of a fight
between a white English woman and a black African woman. Our story is set in the middle of the 19th century when the Voortrekkers where moving into the heart of southern Africa in search of fertile land on which to build their farms and communities. My name is Jan van de Breck and I was for many years a guide and scout to the Voortrekkers. I have made the trek into the heart of Africa from coast many times and have had many adventurers on these journeys. Today I want to tell you about one of the most unusual and spirited people I met during my time as a guide - "Crazy Maggie" |
